It actually started on a train. Josh was heading home, helping his younger brother rewrite a job application on his phone somewhere between stations, the same competency question they'd both answered a dozen times before in a dozen slightly different words.
We are Josh and Adam, two graduates in the thick of the grad scheme cycle at the same time: online forms, video interviews, assessment centres, the full run.
Between us we lost count of how many applications we sent. Most of them asked the same handful of questions in slightly different words, and every one of them wanted a fresh answer. We were rewriting the same story about the same summer job for the fourth time at eleven at night, and it was getting worse each time rather than better. The problem was never a lack of things to say. It was that nothing carried over.
The idea landed on one of those nights: two application forms open in different tabs, both asking a version of the same competency question, both getting answered from scratch as if the other didn't exist. We built tiero because that felt like a solvable problem, not a fact of life.
So we built the thing we wanted. tiero holds your experience in one place, so the work you put into your first application makes your tenth one faster and better, rather than starting from nothing again.
What tiero does
tiero works from your CV and experience to help you write tailored application answers, cover letters, and interview prep, at every stage from the online form to the final interview. Everything it drafts is a starting point: yours to edit and make sound like you before you hit submit.
